Sharing Knowledge to Protect Jewish Heritage in Europe

Sharing Expertise to Preserve the Future

The National Library of Israel is home to the largest and most diverse collection of Judaica in the world and is a leading center for Jewish research and scholarship. Through Gesher L'Europa, the Library is sharing professional knowledge and expertise to help our colleagues in heritage institutions in Europe look after their collections and preserve them for future generations. Additionally, as the "Home of the Jewish Book," the NLI seeks to share our knowledge about the history of Hebrew printing and the development of the Jewish book for people studying Jewish texts in different contexts across Europe.
