Community and Culture

Building an Exchange of Culture and Creativity in Israel and Europe.

Creative and Cultural Exchange

As part of the National Library of Israel's renewal process, rich and innovative cultural programmes have been developed together with artists, musicians and writers across Israel, inspired by the NLI's extensive collections of maps, manuscripts, music, film, books, archives and posters.

Through Gesher L'Europa, the National Library of Israel aims to become a centre for international exchange and creativity in Israel and in Europe, bringing people together to interact through creative, artistic experiences based on NLI collections, and to participate in and facilitate cultural and heritage events.
